ASD Solicitors assisted a 70 year old pensioner to obtain compensation after a fall on a bus following a collision with another vehicle.
Mrs H, from Sheffield, suffered an un-repairable rotator cuff tear as a result of falling awkwardly. Arrangements were made for Mrs H to have shoulder surgery on a private basis at a local hospital; however, it was not possible for the client to make a full recovery. The client is unable to lift her arm above shoulder height as a result of the fall.
Richard Meggitt, Solicitor for ASD, negotiated a settlement with the insurers of £28,000, which included compensation for future care.
