Year of call as a solicitor 1996.
Richard is a qualified solicitor, having joined the firm in 1996. He has deliberately restricted his case load to serious injury claims. Having acted for more than 500 Claimants in major trauma cases, his expertise is recognised by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers; Richard is a senior litigator.
Mr Hay from Rotherham sustained a troublesome fracture to his right wrist as a result of a fall on ice in a city centre. He had been told by his former Solicitors that his claim had less than reasonable prospects of success. This was despite the former Solicitors asking Mr Hay to pay for medical records and notes.
Mr Hay transferred his claim to ASD and within less than a year Mr Long had secured an admission of liability and a payment of compensation for pain suffering and loss of amenity. The client knew that he would never have any liability for any costs when instructing ASD. ASD were also pleased to recover the expenses that Mr Hay’s former Solicitors had made him pay.
