The Claimant, Mr H, was a rear seat passenger in a road accident which resulted in the tragic death of the front seat passenger.
The Claimant sustained significant trauma to his leg, which resulted in a below knee amputation.
Liability was not contested and following negotiations between ASD and the Defendant Insurers an offer in excess of £400,000 was made. ASD advised the Claimant in detail regarding his legal position and, after some deliberation; the Claimant accepted the Defendant’s offer resulting in expeditious settlement, following this terrible and unfortunate accident.
