Richard Meggitt and Richard Long, part of the Serious Injury Team at ASD assisted Mr A of North Nottinghamshire who was seriously injured following a road accident.
The client suffered life threatening multiple injuries to the pelvis, knee, wrist and head. Mr A was thrown from his motorbike when the responsible motorist emerged from a minor road. The Serious Injury Team secured a settlement of £525,000 despite a number of low offers from the insurers.
Mr A was unable to return to work as a result of the accident. Compensation included damages for care and rehabilitation. Mr Long, Solicitor with 35 years of experience, went to see the Claimant at his home and gave ‘face to face’ advice throughout the life of the case.
