Our Client was a pattern cutter who was injured when another employee failed to replace a roll of material properly, leaving it sticking out from a work station upon which she was working. She tripped and fell over the roll of material sustaining serious injuries to both wrists.
As a result of her injuries, our Client was unable to properly look after herself and had to employ others to work around the house which she herself would have done previously.
ASD successfully negotiated a settlement of £13,204.50, incorporating the cost of care and recouping sums paid to workmen throughout the course of her recovery.
