Successful Road Traffic Accident Claim for Factory Worker

Our client, a machine operative from Nottingham, was injured in a road traffic accident whilst cycling to work. As a result of the accident, he suffered a significant injury to his shoulder. The severity of the shoulder injury was such that Mr S of Nottingham was unable to return to work full time.

The insurers had previously offered only £50,000; numerous other offers were rejected until the final offer was made a number of weeks before a Court hearing. Settlement was reached only when an orthopaedic surgeon at the Queens Medical Centre, who specialises in upper limb injuries, was able to give a final opinion.

Despite the fact that following surgery our client made a good recovery he does have on going pain and weakness in his right shoulder.
