What does ‘No Win No Fee’ mean?

This is a simple promise: if your claim for a personal injury is not successful, you will not have to pay us for our work.

What happens if I win my case?

If we successfully win your claim, you will pay a “success fee.” This fee is taken from the compensation you receive.

How much is the success fee?

Unlike many other firms, our success fees are not the standard 25%. In personal injury cases, we charge a fee between 10% and 20% (plus VAT) of your total compensation. The exact percentage depends on the value of your claim. In very low value cases we are unable to recover costs, in such cases the total deduction is 30%.

Do I have to pay for anything else?

We will not charge you for any insurance premiums or shortfalls in costs. We take the risk and pay for expenses like medical reports ourselves. If your claim is successful, you will not have to pay for an insurance policy or cover any of our costs that are not recovered from the other side. The only thing you pay is the success fee.

Claims for Children

As part of our commitment to the community, we are on the legal panel for the MTSP. We provide a completely free service for personal injury claims involving children.

Is there a time when I might have to pay something if I lose?

The only exception is if your claim is found to be “fundamentally dishonest.” This means you have not been truthful about your claim. In this rare case, you may be required to pay some of our costs.
