How much compensation could I receive for a tinnitus claim?

The amount of compensation you can receive depends on the severity of your tinnitus and how it affects your life. Compensation typically covers medical expenses, lost earnings, and emotional distress. Mild cases may receive lower settlements, while severe, long-lasting cases may result in higher payouts.

Can I make a claim if my job caused my tinnitus?

Yes, if your tinnitus was caused by unsafe working conditions, such as excessive noise exposure without proper protection, you can claim against your employer. Employers have a legal duty to ensure their employees’ safety, including providing appropriate hearing protection.

Is there a time limit for making a tinnitus compensation claim?

Yes, you generally have three years from the date of the incident or diagnosis to file a claim. However, exceptions may apply in certain cases, such as if you were unaware of the connection between the noise exposure and your tinnitus.
